About Ms. Meako E. Sakue

Ms. Meako Sakue is a dynamic leader with over 25 years of experience in corporate sales, strategy, consulting, and executive coaching. With a strong background in high-end integration solutions for banks and credit unions, identity protection programs, and startup development within the banking and telecom industries, she has built a reputation for driving business growth and innovation. 

Throughout her career, Ms. Sakue has held leadership roles at top companies, including Axiom Corporation, AT&T Wireless, AirTouch Paging, Kindred Healthcare, HCC, Cellular One, and Alltel Mobile, and many more. She has successfully guided new startups, written grants, and developed strategic programs that protect financial and intellectual assets while fostering sustainable success. 

Beyond corporate leadership, Meako has served on numerous boards, is an active member of the NAACP and the Professional Women’s Organization and has dedicated time to mentorship and young entrepreneur development. In addition to business and coaching, she previously trained and worked as a mentor and professional model at the Barbizon School of Modeling and has held multiple state pageant titles throughout her life. 

As the founder of Sakue Industries, a Black-owned, women-led initiative, Ms. Sakue is committed to mentoring and training young entrepreneurs, equipping them with the tools to launch and sustain thriving businesses. This passion for entrepreneurship extends to her immediate family, as her only son Mr. Michael J Griffin, Jr.,is  an accomplished business leader in his own right, and serves as Co-Ceo of Sakue Enterprises, alongside her.
